Words of Wisdom

One of my favorite professors at BYU has been Dr. Jeffrey Hill, a professor in the department of Family Sciences and the father of my good friends Abby & Hannah. As the years pass, his words of wisdom have blessed my life in so many ways, and I've come to realize how very true they are. Dr. Hill is a man of experience and integrity. He understands a lot more about life than I do. These are the two phrases he taught me that I often repeat:

1. Things Take Time! T.T.T.
- Whether it is learning, growing, healing, forgiving, progressing - things take time! Time is what we have here on earth and often things happen line upon line, precept on precept, here a little and there a little in steady ways.

2. When things don't go as planned, don't get frustrated, make the best of it! How true this is! Often life just doesn't happen as we think, yet it is our responsibility to choose to make the best of it and move forward with faith. Getting frustrated doesn't get us anywhere.
