Right now I'm listening to the "State of the Nation," address and I'm grateful to be living here in this choice land. I just finished a wonderful book called, "The Great Prologue," by Elder Mark E. Peterson. It is a book about the Lord's hand in preparing the world for the restoration of the gospel, and ultimately for the Second Coming of the Savior. I think these are the three main things I got from the book.
1. The Lord's hand has consistently guided His children and directed His affairs from the beginning and He will continue to do so today.
2. The Founding Fathers were prepared and raised up by the Lord to do His work.
3. The future of America is great indeed! Great things are ahead for our country, and for the people of the world. There are many promised blessings for this, our great country of America.
I am gaining an increased love for this country day by day. How grateful I am for the freedoms we enjoy every day! :)
