Crossing the Street

So, have you ever had the experience where you are walking up to an intersection while the light is green, and you can't decide if you are going to cross, or push the button and wait? Yeah. Picture this - I'm leaving work (at the MTC) today and the light up ahead of me is green. A guy darts past me, booking it across the street before the light changes. I continue walking at my steady pace as he runs by. As I approach the light it is STILL green. Well, I took my chance and just ran. The light turned yellow when I was out about two feet into the street, but all you can do at that point is run. It may have been better to just have stayed behind and waited for the next light, but hey, I saved myself a minute or two, and got some exercise, right? I think instead of a little man "walk" image on the light, that it should start out as a man, and then as it starts counting down, flash the letters R.U.N.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
