Pretty sure he was expecting something like this,
Not Little Bunny Foo Foo, which is what he got.
I knew from the moment I saw them that I probably shouldn't make them.
But I did anyway.
I could have made these,
or these,
or these,
or these,
but I stuck with these:
The whole day I was nervous about his reaction to the "treats" we made for his Master-level class. Don't worry, I played it cool and acted super confident as he opened the fridge.
Pretty sure he reacted just as I thought he would.
Pretty sure he wasn't expecting 1st-grade chocolate bunny deliciousness. (Pretty sure he had to ask, "what are these? bunnies?" ...Maybe mine didn't look as good?!)
Pretty sure I told him his friends would think they were awesome and there was NO NEED to be ashamed! AND that there wouldn't be any left over!
Pretty sure he made a disclaimer like this before handing them out this morning:
"I asked my wife to make a treat for class, and THIS is what she made with our 2-year old son. Enjoy."
Pretty sure we laughed about this a LOT last night.
Pretty sure these things taste pretty.stinking.awesome!
Oh, and...
Pretty sure our kids are going to love it when I make awesome "treats" for their class projects!

How funny, April! I'm sure his class appreciated the cute treats. Love you!
ReplyDeleteHaha! You're the best
ReplyDeleteHaha! You know, if he asks you to make it, he gets what you make! I LOVE them and think they're adorable! Master accountants need to keep it real. =) Plus I'm sure Michael loved it!
