It was a pretty great day, thanks to Aaron and our wonderful families! My friend Rachel had Michael in the morning, and then my mom brought me lunch and took Michael for the afternoon. She.is.wonderful.
Aaron had to work most of the day, but he told me he had something planned for that evening. For the first time since having Thomas I actually attempted to "get ready" and when Aaron got home, Thomas & I were ready to go. Aaron took me to Jamba Juice (my favorite place) and it took us awhile because Women's Conference traffic was just getting out. We got our Jamba's and then Aaron suggested we head home and watch and movie and relax. I knew he had a "surprise," (he had mentioned that earlier) but I had NO CLUE what he had planned.
When we got home there was a sign on the door that said, "Cozy Corner Cafe." Aaron opened the door to our apartment and there was a beautiful table set out with my favorite dinner!! I just started crying. Seriously. This was the best surprise ever!
You see, Cozy Corner Cafe was a thing my Uncle Tyler started when I was a young girl. He would set up a restaurant for his date, and my sister, Cathy, & I were the waitresses. We've done it a few times over the years - once for my parents and once for Aaron's parents - but I never dreamed it would be done for me! I was so thrilled!!! Aaron really surprised me and made my day!
We sat down to a beautiful dinner and then opened presents. Then Ben & Mer stopped by with more Jamba - which made my day (I enjoyed my Jamba's for a few days!). Aaron picked up Michael from my parent's home, and we had a nice evening at home.

| Oh, the Relief Society had decorated my door that morning, and Aaron's family put the decorations on the inside of the door when they put up their sign. |

BEST BIRTHDAY SURPRISE EVER. This was a birthday I will never forget.
I'm so grateful for my incredible husband (and his incredible family that made the food and pulled off the whole thing!). Side note - Aaron forgot to leave the door unlocked for his family while he took me to Jamba! He says if it weren't for his new iPhone, he would never have been able to find the number of the Community Aides so his parents could run and get the key and get into our apartment!
Oh, and no one told our sweet neighbors not to bring us dinner that night. So yes, they showed up with a meal, right as we were eating our dinner! A little awkward, but we were so grateful they brought us food and we enjoyed it in the days that followed! :)

How cute is this?! And for only 4 days after Thomas was born - DANG girl - you look AWESOME!
