After we got back from Las Vegas (in fact we flew in from Vegas around 10pm on Friday night, and got up early Saturday morning) Aaron and I ran the Stake-sponsored 5k. Our friend, Sara, was so kind to watch Michael, and it was a fun run except for the fact that Aaron beat me by thirty seconds!! I couldn't believe he didn't even wait for me to cross the finish line with him. I guess it's that competitive blood in him! Gotta love it!

The Jacobs Come to Town!
The next week Aaron's family came to visit! Wahoo! We had so much fun! Michael loved having Grandma and Grandpa Jacob and two of his beautiful aunts around!

And of course we went to the Mormon Battalion (which is my favorite historic site thus far - it's incredibly creative and fun!).

We fed this squirrel. Then we saw a sign that said: Please Don't Feed the Squirrels!
Michael has just about figured out crawling. He scoots and climbs. And he is a good climber. Oh, and he can say, "Duck, duck, goose!" I'm serious. I know, we're good parents (teaching him the most important things). :)

ReplyDeletehaha oh my amazing april. you guys have had such a great summer with so much to do! michael is adorable, I love that he says Duck, Duck Goose! haha that is so cute! by the way, I tried talking to you on facebook chat over the weekend (I dunno if it worked). But for kristin's shower we are planning to do it on August 24th, which is a tuesday. PLEASE BLESS that you guys will be back by then and that you can come!?
