Fun Times

1. Driving in California is crazy. i. always. get. lost. Believe me, I have great stories to tell. However, I'll just put it like this - Relief Society Luncheon on Thursday - I drove around for an hour trying to find it. 1 GPS, 4 people, and 1/4 tank of gas later, never found it. Enough said.



2. Aaron came home from his leadership conference in Utah! Wahoo! This meant I had to drive to the airport, and of course I took the most round-about way of getting there. It was so so so good to see him! I let him drive back. :) We decided to drive across the bridge to Coronado Island and have our picnic dinner there. So beautiful! We love it! We really are loving our 2-month vacation in San Diego.









3. Saturday - Uncle Rick's Birthday and the Wild Animal Park. FUN. We made breakfast for Rick and then spent the rest of the day at the Wild Animal Park. It was a blast. Aaron and I both agree that the Jungle Safari Ride was our favorite. Aaron tried to convince me to wait another 45 minutes to go on it again - almost convinced me, but we had to make it back for dinner. :) That night we went to Outback with Rick & Grandma for Rick's birthday. A little Aussie food is always good. :)


























4. Sunday was wonderful - church, spending time together, reading together, talking to family, and resting. Love it.





5. EVERYTHING ELSE: Aaron is enjoying working for Moss Adams, and he is learning a ton! Aaron & I went running together yesterday, lots of hills. We have actually been going to bed earlier and getting up earlier than ever before - this is good. :) Michael's teeth are slowing coming in, and he is being an angel as always. He loves to talk, laugh, walk (with help), and eat books, magazines, toys, and anything else that he can get his hands on.
