So, here is a run-down on our weekend. Friday night we went to Olive Garden (yum!) for our Valentine's dinner, and Aaron's parents watched Michael. We had like a 60-minute wait, so we read some of Aaron's homework (Crucial Conversations - which I highly recommend) together in the car. That is one thing that I love doing - reading with Aaron! We don't read his Accounting homework together, but this semester we already read President Hinckley's Standing for Something together, and we're half-way through Crucial Conversations. After we read, we spent some time looking at rings at Wilson Diamonds, and then we we got to eat! After that we watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics (cool floor, eh?) and played with Michael.
Saturday we went to the temple, and I was able to do the initiatory work for my great-aunt, Conception San Emeterio. Let me tell you, it has been so neat to do her work. She spent her whole life in Cuba, and I really don't know much about her, but it has been special to do her work (I was baptized and confirmed for her last week).

After the temple we went with Dan & Annie to the BYU v Air Force game, and Michael loved it! Then we went to our ward Valentine's dance, and finally settled down at home and watched some more basketball. :) I'm a good wife, I know. :)
(Okay, so these pictures were another BYU game we went to a few weeks ago, I haven't uploaded our Saturday pictures. :)
We thought it would be noisy for Michael, so we tried putting Aaron's earmuffs on him - cute "CHUBBY," picture, eh?
Uncle Dan & Aunt Annie - our best buddies for BYU games, and games in general. :)
Our family!
Aaron & Michael - like father, like son.
Me & Michael
Sunday was wonderful and calm and after church we spent time with both of our families. :) We love being so close to them and we hope to settle down here eventually.
While I'm writing this, I'm trying to calm Michael down because he is so stinking tired, but he is screaming so much that he can't even scream himself to sleep! :)
Monday was a happy holiday and Aaron did a lot of homework and I did other things (I can't remember and it was just yesterday!) We did have a fun Family Home Evening (planned by me) and we made a little movie about missionary work. Ever since Stake Conference we've both felt like we need to be better about having Family Home Evening. Usually we would sit down, read a Conference talk and call it good (which isn't bad), but now we're taking turns actually planning lessons, and the past two weeks have been incredibly uplifting and fun! :)
Today is Tuesday, it's 9:06pm and I'm super tired. :) It's been a great day, and all I can say is that I'm realizing how precious life is. I want to enjoy Aaron and Michael and everything else, even in the regular, monotonous, ordinary moments. What a gift life is!
So, I realize that many of you may not know what both of us are up to these days, so here is a quick overview (this is part of a post I once wrote and never posted).
Aaron is studying Accounting at BYU and will apply for the MAcc (Masters of Accountancy Program) in a few months (meaning he will graduate with his Masters of Accountancy in April 2012). He has a summer internship at MossAdams in San Diego, so we will be moving to San Diego in June!
This is the office building Aaron will work in, on the sixth floor.

Lovely Coronado Beach, which we will visit and enjoy!

We will live with my Grandma while we are there. Wahoo!
Aaron is an excellent student, which means that he spends a LOT of time studying. However, we both agree that this is the season to pay the price and sacrifice so that he can get a good job later. A wise man once told him something like this, "Work like nobody else will for the next ten years and you will live like nobody else can after that." Enough said - we agree. (However - I wonder if the busyness will ever end? I get this feeling that it won't. It's okay though - Aaron makes time for us, and we really make an effort to spend mealtimes and weekends doing almost everything together.) Aaron also works for BYU I.T., teaching classes to professors and students on programs like the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Captivate, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc. (I'm determined to take all of these classes one day!)
I am a mother. Enough said. :) Also, I am graduating in April with a degree in Family Life from BYU, so I'm currently finishing up two Independent Study classes and my last on-campus class: Self Defense (Don't ask!). I'm also working from home a few hours each day, and staying busy keeping our home in perfect order and making delicious meals on our incredible budget. :)
We live at Wymount Terrace (across from the MTC and BYU campus) and love our ward and being close to our families.
Michael is by far the greatest joy in our lives and he is growing a lot and becoming quite interactive. He loves to talk, smile, and just let Aaron and I dote(spelling?) over him. :) We are SO grateful for him and feel so blessed to be parents to this child.
And now, as I'm done - Michael is sleeping 'like a baby.' He is a baby. :)

Cute pics at the end! So I just visited my sister down in San Diego. You will love it down there! WOW the weather was awesome and I was so happy down there (something about the sunshine).
