Yes, when it comes time for Bowl Games, my dad (and thanks to Meridian) sponsored a great contest. This is the kind of stuff my dad loves, and now, I LOVE IT TOO!
Who would have guessed that Boise State would have beat TCU?
Who would have guessed that SMU would smash Nevada?
Or how about my confidence in Alabama over Texas?
AND HOW ABOUT THOSE BYU COUGARS? WAHOO!
My dad compared my winning results to a similar contest hosted by ESPN. Can you believe that I would have come in 242 out of over 336,000 people? Pure luck.
A whole lot of upsets meant that I became the winner of 100 $1.00 bills!
Well worth the two minutes I spent circling teams on a piece of paper.
