highlights

We have had an incredible Christmas break, and feel like it just ended today when my sister, Cathy, flew home to Tennessee (even though Aaron started school a week ago).

The highlight of our break was Sherry's baptism. We met Sherry in September when she moved here from China. She is our neighbor and dear friend. She was curious about learning about what we believe as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The missionaries taught her in our home, and her faith grew as she received answers to her prayers. She really is an amazing woman, and her example touches so many! Sherry's husband, Yu Hu, has been very supportive and has been a great friend as well.

Sherry was baptized by Aaron on December 27th, 2011. What a special day!

isn't she just beautiful?!

Aaron's family and tons of our ward friends came to support Sherry!

Yes, this was a very special Christmas for our little family. We have grown so much this past semester, and developed sweet and lasting friendships.
